About this course
A one-hour annual in-service for adult day health staff on recognizing fall risk, keeping the program environment and equipment safe, assisting with walking, wheelchairs, gait-belt stand-pivot transfers, and mechanical lifts using safe body mechanics, and responding to and reporting a fall. Satisfies state adult day health licensing expectations on safety, equipment, restraints, and incident reporting. State-neutral.
