About this class
The Human Services Certification is a structured, competency-based training designed to provide foundational knowledge equivalent to a human services minor. This course introduces learners to the history and evolution of human services, public funding systems including Medicaid, Medicare, and HCBS waivers, and core service delivery models such as the medical and social model of care.
Learners will develop practical skills in person-centered planning, ethical practice, communication, and documentation, preparing them to effectively support individuals across diverse populations in community-based settings.
