Child and Dependent Adult Abuse in Iowa: What HCBS Staff Need to Know

Supplemental, employer-provided awareness training on identifying and reporting child abuse and dependent adult abuse for direct support staff at Iowa HCBS waiver and habilitation providers. It does not replace Iowa HHS's core mandatory reporter training (DS 168 Dependent Adult Abuse and DS 169 Child Abuse), which Iowa law requires mandatory reporters to complete within six months of hire and every three years.
