About this course
This course equips child care professionals with the knowledge, skills, and strategies to collaborate effectively with families and empower both families and youth in shared decision making. Learners will explore diverse family structures, core outcomes for children in care, the emotional journey of families, cultural competence, youth participation, and practical tools for family engagement.

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
