About this course
This course equips child care workers in residential and group care settings with the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to build trust with youth, teach essential life skills, maintain a safe and supportive environment, and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team. Learners will explore trauma-informed practices, communication strategies, crisis management, and the importance of self-care and professional boundaries.
