About this course
This course equips child care workers with the knowledge and practical skills to recognize, assess, and respond effectively to suicide risk among youth. Learners will explore the scope of youth suicide, debunk common myths, identify risk factors and warning signs, apply risk assessment frameworks, implement prevention strategies, understand legal and ethical responsibilities, communicate effectively with at-risk youth, and access community resources.
