About this course
A one-hour annual in-service for adult day health staff on recognizing the medical emergencies most likely in a day program for older adults, the program's emergency procedures and 911 criteria, responding to choking, awareness-level hands-only CPR and AED use, honoring advance directives, and notification and documentation afterward. Awareness training that supplements, and does not replace, CPR and first aid certification. State-neutral.
