Pathway curriculum
Each module shows the training or evidence that satisfies a requirement, when it is first due, and how often it must be renewed.
Adult Day Care providers must ensure all staff and volunteers receive orientation upon hire and ongoing training with at least four in-service sessions per year.
Mapped training
At employment and annually, each employee must receive training on the purpose and goals of ADC services.
At employment and annually, each employee must receive training on the facility's policies and regulations.
At employment and annually, each employee must receive training on staff roles and responsibilities and how staff members relate to one another.
At employment and annually, each employee must receive training on beneficiary rights and confidentiality.
At employment and annually, each employee must receive training on the needs of beneficiaries in the facility's target population.
At employment and annually, each employee must receive training on body mechanics, transfer techniques, and assistance with Activities of Daily Living.
At employment and annually, each employee must receive training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, first aid, and infection control.
At employment and annually, each employee must receive training on fire, safety, disaster planning, and the facility's emergency plan.

Adult Day Care providers must have a sufficient number of employees who maintain current and active First Aid and CPR certification. Assign this requirement to designated staff when only a subset must carry certification.
