Rhode Island — BHDDH DDD DSP Training
Tracks the annual health-care training core for direct support staff in Rhode Island developmental disability organizations under 212-RICR-10-05-1 §1.11.9(B), which requires annual training with demonstrated competency and sets no statewide hour figure. Follows the state's own regulation, and tracks CPR/First Aid, nurse-delegated medication administration, and individualized health procedures as external evidence.
One organized view of what each learner has completed, what is still due, and what needs to be renewed.
Pathway curriculum
Each module shows the training or evidence that satisfies a requirement, when it is first due, and how often it must be renewed.
Annual training on universal precautions and applicable OSHA safety requirements, with demonstrated competency, per §1.11.9(B).
Mapped training
Annual training on promoting wellness and on recognizing signs and symptoms of illness in the people supported, per §1.11.9(B).
Annual training on health-related documentation and the agency's health-care policies and procedures, per §1.11.9(B). Tracked as agency-documented evidence: the catalog does not yet carry a jurisdiction-neutral documentation course, so agencies evidence this from their own in-service until one ships.
Annual classroom training on safe medication administration principles per §1.11.9(B). Actual administration authority comes only through the nurse-delegation program tracked separately.
First Aid and CPR are part of the annual health-care core; in-person skills certification — track evidence here.
Medication administration by unlicensed staff operates under nurse delegation using agency-nurse-approved curricula, reviewed annually. Track delegation/certification evidence here.
Training on health-care procedures specific to each individual supported, per §1.11.9(B). Person-served-specific — track competency evidence here.
