Virginia DSP Orientation Training & Test

Virginia DBHDS Direct Support Professional orientation, delivered online. Review the DBHDS orientation training slides, then pass the DSP Orientation Test (effective 11/15/21): 111 multiple-choice and true/false questions covering all six orientation sections — The Values that Support Life in the Community, Introduction to Developmental Disabilities, Waivers for People with Developmental Disabilities, Communication, Positive Behavioral Support, and Health and Safety — plus the Choking Risk and Change in Mental Status supplemental sections. Both the slides and the test must be completed, with a test score of at least 80%.
