
Dementia Care and Adult Day Services Expert
Executive Director, National Adult Day Services Association
Tia Sauceda is the Executive Director of the National Adult Day Services Association (NADSA) and a nationally recognized expert in Adult Day Services, dementia care, and person-centered care. With more than twenty years of experience, she began her career as a direct care provider and has since dedicated her work to advancing community-based solutions that support older adults and adults with disabilities to live well and age in place.
Before joining NADSA, Tia served as Senior Director of Services at Seniors Resource Center in Colorado, where she led Adult Day Programs, Caregiver Support Services, and the development of an Integrated Care Model designed to deliver holistic, accessible services.
Her expertise extends to training and curriculum development. She created dementia care curricula for the Alzheimer's Association to support its Center for Dementia Respite Innovation program, and she regularly speaks on topics including meaningful engagement, caregiver resilience, and building system-level solutions for aging in place.
Tia has volunteered to support initiatives with the Alzheimer's Association, the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias Workgroup, and Dementia Friendly Denver, and she served on NADSA's Board of Directors prior to her appointment as Executive Director. She holds a Certificate in Gerontology from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
