Vermont — DAIL DDSD DSP Training
Tracks the pre-service and in-service training requirements for direct support workers in Vermont developmental disabilities services under HCAR 7.100 (2023): specified topics before working alone and additional topics within 3 months, with agency training plans refreshing content at least every 3 years. Follows the state's own rule — Vermont sets no hour counts and runs no state curriculum or LMS — and tracks First Aid, nurse-delegated medication, and individual-specific training as external evidence.

Pathway curriculum
Each module shows the training or evidence that satisfies a requirement, when it is first due, and how often it must be renewed.
Before working alone: training on recognizing and reporting abuse, neglect, and exploitation of vulnerable adults. Agency plans refresh training at least every 3 years.
Mapped training
Before working alone: health and safety practices and critical incident recognition and reporting.
Before working alone: values and rights of people with developmental disabilities under 18 V.S.A. § 8728, supported decision-making, the Presumption of Competence, and how individuals access support.
Within 3 months: the worker's role in the Individual Support Agreement (ISA) and an orientation to Vermont's developmental disabilities service system.
Within 3 months: bloodborne pathogens and infection-control training.
First aid is an in-service requirement within 3 months; in-person skills certification — track evidence here.
Medication administration by unlicensed staff operates under nurse delegation with annual review. Track delegation evidence here.
