About this course
This course introduces learners to the core Principles of Behavior Change, focusing on understanding why behaviors occur and how to promote positive change in supportive, ethical ways. Participants will explore different types of behavior—voluntary and involuntary—and learn evidence-based strategies for encouraging desired behaviors while safely and effectively reducing challenging ones. The course emphasizes reinforcement, motivation, and behavioral momentum as key tools for improving outcomes in person-centered care.
