Wyoming — WDH HCBS DSP Training
Tracks Wyoming's pre-service training mandate for HCBS waiver providers under Medicaid Chapter 45 § 15 (ten required topics before unsupervised work, plus participant-specific training) and the 8-hour annual continuing education for IHT staff. § 15(d) expressly lets providers develop their own modules covering the key elements with Division approval. Requirements follow the state's own rules, not an invented curriculum.

Pathway curriculum
Each module shows the training or evidence that satisfies a requirement, when it is first due, and how often it must be renewed.
Before unsupervised work, staff must be trained on participant choice, rights, dignity, and confidentiality (§ 15 topics). Per § 15(d), providers may develop their own modules covering these key elements or use Division modules, with Division approval.
Mapped training
Pre-service training must cover abuse, neglect, and exploitation and use of the Notice of Incident (NOI) reporting form. Provider-developed modules are permitted under § 15(d) with Division approval.
Pre-service training must cover emergency procedures. Provider-developed modules are permitted under § 15(d) with Division approval.
Pre-service training must cover billing and documentation practices and releases of information. Provider-developed modules are permitted under § 15(d) with Division approval.
Pre-service training must cover the grievance process and each participant's plan objectives; person-centered planning coursework satisfies the transferable portion. Provider-developed modules are permitted under § 15(d) with Division approval.
Individual habilitation training staff must complete 8 hours of continuing education annually; mapped courses count toward the documented hours.
Medication assistance training (MAT) is Division-locked: nine online modules on the state LMS with an 80% pass requirement (§ 14). State-run, so tracked as external evidence.
§ 14 requires hands-on CPR and first-aid certification; in-person skills components are tracked as external evidence.
§ 15 requires participant-specific training in addition to the ten general topics before unsupervised work; person-specific by nature, so tracked as external evidence.
