About this course
This course equips support professionals, educators, and staff with practical, trauma-informed strategies to recognize, prevent, and safely respond to escalating behaviors in autistic individuals. Learners will explore early warning signs, low arousal and trauma-informed responses, proactive planning, team coordination, individualized supports, documentation, and legal and ethical considerations to promote safety, dignity, and positive outcomes.
