About this course
This course introduces learners to the principles of Community Integration and Inclusion, also known as Community Membership, focusing on supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in becoming active, valued members of their communities. Participants will explore strategies for fostering connection, belonging, and participation while addressing and overcoming barriers to inclusion. The course emphasizes empowerment, equality, and the shared benefits of full community engagement for both individuals and society.
