Communicating with participants, families, and the care team — including sensory and cognitive barriers.
Rights, dignity, privacy, and respect for adults receiving day services.
Infection control, universal precautions, and communicable disease basics for congregate day settings.
Emergency and disaster procedures, fire safety, and day-center environmental safety.
Recognizing and reporting abuse, neglect, and exploitation of older and vulnerable adults.
Complete 15 cumulative hours of accredited training across the Direct Care Academy curriculum. Hours carry forward between levels.
